Pay $5 once. Get paid as a holder.
HoodGram charges exactly two prices: $5, once, for an account that exists forever, and $10 a month for a room, paid by whoever runs it. Messages are never charged. Half of every payment goes to whoever holds $GRAM — no staking contract to enter, nothing to lock up.
One payment in $GRAM and your account exists permanently. It is also the spam wall: every account on HoodGram cost somebody five dollars, so there are no bot floods to wade through.
The price above is live from the chain. Connect a wallet to pay it once and own the account forever.
- Approve $GRAMOne-off permission for the Activation contract to move the quoted amount.
- ActivatePays the quote in $GRAM. 100% of it goes to the vault, where half is set aside for holders.
A handle is an @name bound to your address on chain — free with the $5 activation, one per account.
Rooms you admin are found from the chain itself — GroupCreated and AdminTransferred events against your address. Members always ride free.
Half of every payment goes to $GRAM holders.
Every $5 activation and every $10 of room rent. Not to a staking pool, not to anyone who locked tokens up — to whoever held $GRAM in their own wallet at the moment an epoch was snapshotted, read straight off the token's balance checkpoints.
- No staking
- No lock-up
- No deposit
- No delegation
Your share is computed from your own $GRAM balance at each snapshot block. Nothing to deposit, nothing to opt into — connect and it is already calculated.
Revenue from activations and room rents accrues to the vault continuously. Sealing turns whatever has accrued into a fixed pool and pins the block that decides who is owed what.
A share is fixed the moment an epoch seals: it depends only on your $GRAM balance at the snapshot block. Buying after the snapshot earns nothing from that epoch; selling after it changes nothing — the share is still yours.
